                                             almostquiet steam

                                                   disturbing the edginess

                                        of the kitchen

                                               knives idle & ready

                                                        for the most peaceful act

                                  i checked

                                                    according to the recipe

                                                and still – a boilover

                          not

                                                as simple as cooking
